Kelsea is from Lilburn, GA and began taking piano lessons at the age of 8. She got her BA in Music from Truett-McConnell University, where she began playing piano collaboratively. She quickly discovered that she loves it! After moving down to Statesboro to pursue her Master’s degree at Georgia Southern University, she became involved with Moon River Opera. She has been with MRO from the beginning, and has loved getting to work with so many wonderful artists over the years! 

In addition to working with MRO, Kelsea is the pianist at FBC Metter, a member of the collaborative piano team at Georgia Southern, and the Operations Manager at Statesboro Cleaning. She also has several private piano students. 

Kelsea is excited about the mission of Moon River Opera and is grateful to be a part of it!

Elizabeth Cadman Kasay

Elizabeth Cadman Kasay

Director of Events

Elizabeth Cadman Kasay is a recent graduate of Georgia Southern University, who earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and her Minor in Theatre Performance. As well as being an operatic soprano, Elizabeth has been professionally teaching piano and voice lessons since 2013. During her time at Georgia Southern, Elizabeth was featured in roles such as April in Sondheim’s Company, Annunciata in William Bolcom’s comedic opera, Lucrezia, and Mary Warren in Robert Ward’s opera, The Crucible. She played the cover role for Susanna in W.A. Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, and performed in the comedic opera Speed Dating Tonight by Michael Ching.

As well as her performance experience, Elizabeth has been an assistant stage manager for productions such as Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, Giacomo Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, and most recently, served as our Stage Manager for “Improv Opera”, and The Medium. Since graduating, Elizabeth joined the Moon River Opera crew as Director of Events, and has begun her first year of teaching Chorus and Music Appreciation at Langston Chapel Middle School in Statesboro, Georgia; where she lives with her husband. As Director of Events, Elizabeth looks forward to continuing to put together exciting events for Moon River Opera!

Brenna Dudley

Brenna Dudley

Executive Director

With performances described as “sensitively brilliant” and “appealing and naturally beautiful,” soprano Brenna Dudley is proud to have worked with international instructors including Julia Faulkner, Richard Owens, and Claudia Pinza. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin Madison before completing her Master’s at Georgia Southern University.  Equally at home in the operatic and musical theatre repertoire, she is an alumnist of the Opera Roanoke Apprentice Artist program where she sang Janet in South Pacific and covered the title role of Susannah. Brenna was also one of the founding participants of the International Baroque Academy, where she performed with Johannes Berger of the Concerto München. Previous roles include Musetta in “La boheme,” Rosalinda in “Die Fledermaus,” Monica in “The Medium,” Susanna in “Le nozze di Figaro,” and Gasparina in Haydn’s “La canterina.” 

As the Executive Director of Moon River Opera, she is proud to foster a place for emerging artists to learn from one another, bring more opera to the beautiful city of Savannah, and most importantly, make opera fun again!
